WESTON Expands Water Resources and Design Services with Acquisition of Resource Technology, Inc.

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — September 3, 2009 – Weston Solutions, Inc. (WESTON®), a leading environmental, redevelopment, and construction firm, today announced the acquisition of Resource Technology, Inc. (RTI). RTI is a New Mexico-based small and minority-owned water resources, civil engineering and landscape architecture design firm.

The acquisition of RTI significantly expands WESTON’s portfolio of solutions in its water resources and infrastructure program with enhanced professional services in urban planning, surface water, landscape architecture, irrigation, hydrology and hydraulics.

Former RTI principal and Civil Engineer, Elvidio Diniz, P.E., D. WRE will join WESTON’s Albuquerque staff as a Senior Client Service Manager. Mr. Diniz has 38 years of water resources, civil engineering, and hydrology/hydraulics experience. He is well known in the Southwest as an expert in watershed modeling and drainage design.

Mr. Diniz commented on the acquisition stating, “The combined technology, resources and expertise of WESTON and RTI will complement our current offerings to existing clients, and expand our geographic presence. The acquisition will enable us to deliver the comprehensive set of solutions our customers require from assessment through design, construction and operations.
